Children's Programs at CLC

Here at Community Lutheran Church we offer many programs for children:

Coming Up - April 18th Elementary School Fellowship Day

All Elementary school aged children are invited to come be a part of our monthly fellowship activity!  This month, we’ll be gathering together in the sanctuary to watch a movie (TBD) and enjoy some popcorn... come for a family-friendly movie and a nice afternoon of fellowship!  Bring a friend- everything is free!

Each summer kids can participate in Music and Drama (MAD) Camp. This fun and creative program provides the children a way to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ through musical and dramatic expression. It occurs each July for one week.

Also at Community Lutheran Church we have Children’s Choir. They meet each Wednesday night for rehearsal and sing in worship on Sunday. We encourage all children to raise their voices and join in the fun.

The Kriskening that occurs each February provides yet another opportunity for children to make new friends as they bring gifts through out the month of February to their secret family.

In the summer there is Vacation Bible School, movie nights, and many fun afternoon outings like ice-skating.

During worship we provide a special portion of the service called Children’s Church, where all the young children come to the front of the church to gather around for a special presentation accompanied by crafts that help them learn the Gospel of Jesus for their lives.
