Children's Programs at CLC

Here at Community Lutheran Church we offer many programs for children:

Each summer kids can participate in Music and Drama (MAD) Camp. This fun and creative program provides the children a way to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ through musical and dramatic expression. It occurs each July for one week.

Also at Community Lutheran Church we have Children’s Choir. They meet each Wednesday night for rehearsal and sing in worship on Sunday. We encourage all children to raise their voices and join in the fun.

Kriskening takes place during the month of February and provides yet another opportunity for children to make new friends. Participants bring gifts through out the month of February to their secret family and the big reveal takes place at the Kriskening Potluck. This year the potluck will be on February 26th.

In the summer there is Vacation Bible School, movie nights, and many fun afternoon outings like ice-skating.

During worship we have a Children's Sermon, where the young children are invited come to the front of the church for a special sermon. Then afterwards they are invited to go to Children's Church for stories and activities that follow the church lessons.
