Quilting for Lutheran World Relief & Prayer Shawl Ministry

Quilting is an on-going group that makes utilitarian quilts for Lutheran World Relief. These quilts are distributed by LWR to refugees throughout the world as needed.

We work on the 4th Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. and have a quilting marathon for a week during July. Volunteers (no sewing skills needed) and supplies are always needed. You can also sew quilt tops at home.

We also have a Prayer Shawl ministry. We welcome knitters and crocheters to make Prayer Shawls. Once the prayer shawls are complete we collect them and we give them to people facing difficult situations in their lives.
